You gave your workers notice

miners should do just what they're told,

not worry about the gas or coal dust.

Their job was just to run the coal.

but don't ask me what I think of you.

You sure didn't let them slow you down.

You broke the rules and bought the favors

until that explosion underground.

For throwing their lives away

how much more money did you get

and was it worth it?

Then you had to go one better.

I guess killing miners wasn't bad enough.

You just couldn't give the family members

time off to bury those they lost.
