Now that it's all over and done with

it hurts like the devil to admit

that I saw it going down,

your true-love turn around.

You took quite a spin.

Once you loved only me,

now you love only him.

You're only a lover gone

and it's a crying sin.

My friends say that I could get you back

but I'm too good a loser to do that

and he can buy you things,

fancy clothes and rings,

that I never did.

hurt badly, no denying

and who's the one who ends up stone alone?

You don't have to be clever

to figure out the answer,

the same one every time you might have known.

I don't want to say that you did wrong

by tearing me apart and moving on

and I won't say it's bad,

the reason that you had,

I just wonder what it is.
