Hard Times in the Wind

You see the one I'm speaking of,

you see her wandering eye.

Is she looking for something more than I can give?

She used to seem happy to be walking by my side.

Now something's changed but I can't say what it is

and are there hard times in the wind?

Can you feel the storm rolling in

as the daylight dims

and the raindrops begin?

Are there hard times in the wind?

Listen to the wind whistling a sad song she seems to know.

Maybe she's going to teach me that sad tune

but then maybe I can already guess just how that one goes.

Getting put down for someone else is nothing new

and are there hard times in the wind...
